My Story
I came to this work not only as a therapist, but as someone who personally understands the complexity of living with a chronic medical condition. I’ve seen how the world often overlooks, pathologizes, or misunderstands disabled bodies and minds. My work is about creating a space where your full self—including the parts that feel unseen or dismissed—can be acknowledged and supported.
Over the years, I’ve supported clients adjusting to new diagnoses, navigating the healthcare system, managing chronic pain and fatigue, and rebuilding identity and hope after loss or significant physical changes. Disability counselling, chronic pain support, and working with medical trauma are at the heart of my practice. At the same time, I also enjoy working with a wide range of people and concerns — no two paths to healing are the same.
I support people navigating:
- Chronic pain, fatigue, and medical trauma
- Life with visible or invisible disabilities
- The emotional toll of navigating healthcare systems
- Grief for the body or life you thought you'd have
- Anxiety, depression, and burnout, especially related to exclusion or ableism
- Life transitions, caregiving dynamics, and shifting relationships
- Feeling like you don’t quite fit into any one box
